Andrew Coursey is an aquaculture specialist working with the aquaculture industry in Illinois and Indiana. He provides outreach and extension services to producers and aquaculture associations and is working closely with Dr. Kwamena Quagrainie to determine what aquaculture products are being produced in Illinois and Indiana, as well as determining total yearly aquaculture production within those states.
Before coming to Illinois and Indiana Sea grant, Andrew worked as a research systems coordinator and facilities manager for the Southern Illinois University-Carbondale Center for Fisheries, Aquaculture, and Aquatic Sciences. He holds BA and MS degrees from SIUC, focused on fish nutrition and aquaculture.
