Dr. Tomas Höök is the Director of the Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant College Program. Tomas is a faculty member in the Department of Forestry and Natural Resources at Purdue University, where his research and teaching areas of expertise include fisheries and aquatic sciences of the Laurentian Great Lakes.

He received his BS, MS, and PhD from the University of Michigan and prior to coming to Purdue he worked at the Cooperative Institute for Limnology and Ecosystems Research. Tomas has previously served as the president of the International Association of Great Lakes Research and was the Associate Director of Research for IISG from 2010-2018.
