Ethan Chitty is the senior administrative and layout assistant with Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant at Purdue University. He supports annual reporting and the daily operations of the administrative offices, helps with planning and coordination of Sea Grant events, manages the products and publications archiving database, and serves as a designer and editor on the communications team.

Before coming to IISG, Ethan worked in several business offices with Purdue University, Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis (UIPUI), and the Indiana Historical Society Press. He holds a bachelor’s in political science and history from Purdue and a master’s in history from IUPUI’s Public History Program. He is a graduate of IUPUI’s Professional Editing program.
